    JUNIOR CLASS ENTRIES for 2026

Junior Class entries are open to youth residing in the State of Wisconsin who are affiliated with one or more recognized youth organizations, such as 4-H or FFA.

Junior Class exhibits are evaluated using a Face-to-Face judging format. In this process, each exhibitor presents their entry directly to the judge, discusses their project, and receives a placing upon completion. All Junior Class entries are eligible to receive a premium.

Exhibitors are required to be present during Face-to-Face judging. In the event a youth is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, a written explanation must be submitted to the Columbia County Fair Board of Directors. All requests must be received and approved by the Board no later than July 1, 2026.

All exhibits must remain on display until 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Entries removed prior to this time will result in forfeiture of any awarded premium.

For questions or additional information, please contact the Columbia County Fair at Information@columbiacountyfairwi.org.

  • OPEN CLASS ENTRIES for 2026

Open Class entries are open to the general public and are intended for individuals who are not affiliated with a recognized youth organization. As an open fair, the Columbia County Fair welcomes participation from anyone, and exhibitors may earn premiums for entries that receive a placing.

All Open Class entries are evaluated using the Single Placing judging system. Under this system, all entries within a class are judged against one another, and premiums are awarded to the top four entries. This applies to all categories, including small animals and livestock.

All exhibits must remain on display until 4:00 PM on August 2, 2026. Entries removed prior to this time will result in forfeiture of any awarded premium.

For questions or additional information, please contact the Columbia County Fair at Information@columbiacountyfairwi.org.
