MARY BECKER MEMORIAL

Honoring Mary Becker’s Legacy

For many years, Mary Becker was a devoted volunteer at the Columbia County Fair — a friendly face, a helping hand, and a true champion of agricultural education. Mary often dreamed of bringing a mechanical milking cow to the fair, so visitors of all ages could experience the joy and wonder of learning where milk really comes from.

Sadly, Mary passed away before she could make that dream a reality. To honor her memory and her love for the fair, we are holding a fundraiser to purchase “Maggie, the Real Milking Cow” — a hands-on, educational display that embodies Mary’s spirit of learning, laughter, and community.

Every donation helps keep Mary’s legacy alive and brings her vision one step closer to life at the Columbia County Fair.

Meet Maggie, the Real Milking Cow! 🐄
Maggie is an exciting and educational hands-on experience for all ages. She’s 33 inches wide, 90 inches long, 64 inches tall, and weighs about 250 pounds — and she’s built for fun learning! Her working udder allows children of all ages experience what it’s really like to milk a cow.

Maggie will quickly becoming a favorite attraction at the Columbia County Fair. Want to help bring Maggie to our fair, click on the link below to donate what you can? Our goal is $7000.00 and we are already more than half way there with $3600.00 from our generous donors. Thank you!
